The 1846 marriage is to a Mary Robinson. Maybe a Mary Nightngale married a 'X' Robinson who died, or got divorced (unlikely) before 1846. Her age suggests it could be. The 1871 census has an unclear age - 53 or 33. 53 would fit with other census's & the age of her kids. |
