The 1846 marriage is to a Mary Robinson. Maybe a Mary Nightngale married a 'X' Robinson who died, or got divorced (unlikely) before 1846. Her age suggests it could be. The 1881 census entry looks correct, but I cannot find evidence of William re-marrying, i.e. a death for Mary Tarlton and/or marriage for an Elizabeth to William tarlton 1871-1881. |
