In her husbands will, she is described as being from 'Congleton Moss'. As John Sharp was a farmer, it seems possible that his farm was the one listed as 'Moss Farm' in maps of 1881 & 1891. This is in the area called Congleton Moss and also on Canal St (formerly Dog Lane). |
