This is the last Will and testament of John Mitchil of the Township of Rushton James in the parish of Leek in the County of Stafford farmer

First I will that all my just debts, funeral expenses, and the proving of this my last will and testament, be paid our of my estate, by my executors herein after named,

I leave bequeath and devise unto my beloved wife Pheby Mitchill all the intrest and profits arising out of my estates during her natural life and if sickness or necessity should happen that she should have a power to use a part of the stock, and if my son John Mitchil should survive my wife that he shall the interest and profits receive the same as my wife hath had, and upon the death of my wife and my son John Mitchel then all my estate both real and personal, be sold and divided share and share alike amongst my children, and I hereby appoint and nominate my wife and Jacob Sharp to be my executors of this my last will and testament as witness my hand this fourteenth day of April one thousand eight hundred and thirty seven.

Signed sealed published and declared as his last will and testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other have herewithto subscribed our hands
